Public Transportation - Alceo
IVR (Interactive Voice Response) for the Lost and Found service at Bologna Airport
Working together with N-aitec, a company specializing in software solutions for airports, Alceo has developed a system for communicating information relating to variations in status of the airport’s Lost and Found application.
The service welcomes callers and directs them to the appropriate channel of the Lost and Found department of the airport. The system also includes an SMS service, again developed by Alceo, which provides passengers with status alerts (‘luggage lost’, ‘luggage found’ and ‘luggage available for collection’) by linking to an Oracle database connected with a global luggage handling system based in Phoenix, Arizona.
The system has been adopted by another 5 Italian airports: Giovanni Bellini, Catania; Cristoforo Colombo, Genoa; Olbia, Emerald Coast; Pietro Savorgnan, Ronchi dei Legionari (Trieste); Sandro Pertini, Turin.
